Whateverb V2

225.00

The whole idea behind the Whateverb is to provide 3 usable and unique reverb options. We don't have any plans to continue making this pedal after we run of the enclosures we have left on the shelf.

This:

Chorus/Flange Reverb with depth and rate controls for the modulation

That:

Room Hall Reverb with HIGH and LOW pass filtering.

Otherb:

Shimmer Reverb with dissonance and volume controls

The LEDs are also knobs

If we're out of stock, subscribe to our email thing and we will let you know when we have more in stock.

B-Stock pedals are fully functional. They just have some cosmetic quarks.

Additional Info

"So, what's the difference between V1 and V2?"

  • Expression Input for the Warp Knob

  • Wider Warp Range

  • 100% Reverb

  • True Bypass

  • Softswitch Bypass

  • More Durable INPUT & OUTPUT Jacks

Blend and Decay are pretty standard knobs for reverb pedals, but whats not so standard is the Warp knob. This actually changes the sample rate of the ADAC Chip in the pedal.

"What the heck is sample rate? and what in the heck is an ADAC?"

The sample rate is how quickly the audio samples are taken in and processed. There are some wacky things that happen when you change the sample rate. i.e. the pitch and the decay of the programs.

I'm kind of abbreviating here but ADAC stands for Analog to Digital to Analog Converter. Essentially the workhorse chip behind all the digital conversion of your instrument signal.

"OK, so what do the other knobs do?"

The top two knobs change depending on where the toggle is set, which effectively changes between one of three distinct settings. This, That, and Otherb.

"Sweet. So I have a V1 and I want to trade it in for a V2. How much is the upgrade?"

Upgrades from V1 to V2 are free. We feel that the V1 design was flawed in a few ways and want to give you awesome people a chance to experience a more durable and usable reverb pedal. Just get in touch and we will let you know where to send it.

  • 9VDC CENTER NEGATIVE 2.1mm JACK

  • 250mA REQUIRED

  • NO BATTERY CLIP

  • 125B ENCLOSURE SIZE

  • Warp - warps the pitch and the length of the reverb. What it is really doing is changing the clock speed of the ADAC. Which means all of the knob controls are dependent on where this warp knob is set.
  • Blend - 100% Blend of reverb and your dry input signal.
  • Decay - Length of the reverb tail.
  • Toggle Switch - Select between reverb settings
  • Deep - Depth of Flange/Chorus in This setting
  • Rate - Speed of Flange/Chorus is This setting
  • High Tide - Highpass filter roll-off frequency in That setting
  • Low Tide - Lowpass filter roll-off frequency in That setting
  • Shimmer - dissonance of shimmer octaves
  • Volume - the volume of shimmer effect

This:

Chorus/Flange Reverb with depth and rate controls for the modulation

That:

Room Hall Reverb with HIGH and LOW pass filtering.

Otherb:

3x Octave Up Shimmer Reverb with dissonance and volume controls

Note: When inserting the expression pedal, please make sure that the power is uplugged from the pedal! This may create huge pops in your amp if you do not unplug the power.

Also: If the Whateverb isn't passing any signal when engaged, try wiggling the warp knob.

Another Note: The picture shown is the Whateverb V1, the only visual difference between V1 and V2 is the added expression jack on the left side of the pedal.
